Emily Griffith Technical College is a family legacy for Daniella Carlos, whose grandfather has taught there for over 23 years. She pivoted from her background in pre-school education to pursue her aptitude for technology and completed the Computer Networking program in July. Flexible schedules let her keep working while she studied, and financial aid, including a scholarship from the Women’s Foundation, helped her break into the IT field.
Jack Curtis
Jack Curtis was working full-time and craving a deeper intellectual challenge, but high tuition and rigid school schedules stood in the way. Then he found the Water Quality Management program at Emily Griffith Technical College. Affordable night classes and an interest-free payment plan made it possible, and he completed the program in July 2026. Now an apprentice with the City of Englewood, Jack is moving toward a full-time operator role protecting our community’s resources.
Cam Clarke
Visual storytelling has always been a calling for Colorado native Cam Clarke. Growing up with a hearing challenge made textbook-heavy schooling a struggle, so, guided by his father, a 40-year video production veteran, he enrolled in the 11-month Multimedia and Video Production program at Emily Griffith Technical College. Grants and scholarships covered his entire tuition, and Cam thrived in the hands-on environment.
Nina Marie Crihfield
Healthcare is a lifelong calling for Nina Marie Crihfield. She graduated high school two years early and launched her own home care company. Now she is pursuing her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials at Emily Griffith Technical College while caring for her home and family. Donor-supported financial aid has eased everyday expenses, helping her stay focused on school and on a future built around making patients feel seen, safe, and valued.
