Tisha Chapman
Vice President of Student Services, Emily Griffith Technical College

Tisha Chapman is the Vice President of Student Services as Emily Griffith Technical College. She has worked in higher education for more than 20 years. Prior to working for Emily Griffith Technical College, she worked in the Colorado Community College System for over 10 years in the areas of Financial Aid, Admissions, Records and Recruitment.  Tisha has served on the Denver Foundation Civic and Education Committee and served on the DEAN Leadership Committee. She currently serves on the  Denver Scholarship Foundation Steering Committee.  She has also taught at the Community College of Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver in Human Services, as well as the GED program at Emily Griffith Technical College.  Tisha has extensive experience in developing processes that produce positive outcomes and build cohesiveness among departments and external partners. She is a strong champion of creating policies and procedures that support students both in and outside of the classroom. Tisha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Policy and Financial Management from the University of Colorado at Denver.
