Sarah McCarthy
Community Philanthropist

Sarah led Ambassador Engagement for Project C.U.R.E., Colorado’s largest international development organization from 2014-2019. Sarah was responsible for planning, organizing and directing fundraising efforts, including national board development, major gifts programs, special events, philanthropic travel, annual campaigns and community outreach. Prior to joining Project C.U.R.E., Sarah developed a passion for charitable and philanthropic causes while traveling the world for over ten years as a professional dancer in the prestigious Australian Ballet. Throughout her travels, which have included visits to over 40 countries on five continents - Sarah has seen up close the countless challenges facing many around the world and has taken it upon herself to affect positive change globally. Moreover, as someone who did not take the tradition education route of high school and college, and chose to participate in a technical school (The Australian Ballet School) during her final high school years, Sarah understands first hand the student experience and the deep need for varied educational opportunities for different individuals. Sarah serves on the board of the United Nations Association of the USA, Judaism Your Way, is an Ambassador for the Rose Andom Center and the Anchor Center for Blind Children.
