Lindsay Sandham is the Grants & Communications Manager at Emily Griffith Foundation and  is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years’ experience in the adult education and nonprofit sectors. Her career began as an English Language instructor, where she developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by underrepresented populations, specifically refugees and immigrants.

Lindsay has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. Her passion for empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds led her to transition into the realm of grants writing and management. Joining the Emily Griffith Foundation in 2016 as a Grants Writer, she skillfully combined her writing and communications background with her commitment to expanding opportunities for marginalized communities.

Today, Lindsay is responsible for a portfolio of nearly 50 existing and legacy funders, including foundations, corporations, and government grants. Her expertise lies in sourcing new revenue streams that align with the organization's mission, which has resulted in an impressive annual average of $850K+ in revenues. Through her diligent efforts, Lindsay ensures the Foundation's programs, projects, and initiatives continue to thrive.
