Lindsay Sandham, Director of Grants & Communications

Lindsay Sandham is the Director of Grants & Communications at Emily Griffith Foundation, where she leads grant development, donor stewardship, and organizational communications in support of students and programs at Emily Griffith Technical College. She oversees a diverse portfolio of foundation, corporate, and government funders and contributes more than $1 million annually in grant and philanthropic revenue to advance career-focused education across Colorado.

In her role, Lindsay develops and manages complex grant proposals and reports, builds long-term funder relationships, and partners closely with Foundation and College leadership to align fundraising strategies with institutional priorities. She also directs the Foundation’s communications strategy, guiding donor messaging, digital presence, multi-channel campaigns, and impact storytelling that elevates student voices and strengthens donor engagement.

Lindsay brings more than 15 years of experience in adult education and the nonprofit sector. She began her career as an English Language instructor, where she gained a deep understanding of the strengths and challenges of diverse learners, including refugees and immigrants. That experience continues to shape her work, grounding her approach in clarity, equity, and respect for lived experience.

Lindsay is committed to continuous learning and leadership development. She completed the 2023 Fall cohort of Impact Denver through the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Foundation, participated in Rose Community Foundation’s Launch Pathway in 2025, and is a current member of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lab.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. Her background informs a communications and grants practice rooted in authenticity, strategic thinking, and measurable impact.
