Jonathan Munro is KeyBank’s Head of Merchant Services. Jonathan leads a team of over 80 employees across KeyBank’s footprint. His team leads the development and implementation of payment solutions for businesses. Since he started at KeyBank, managing a territory in Colorado, Jonathan has demonstrated his ability to build a winning culture and increase market share for strategic growth regions.

He is an experienced executive in the financial services industry, starting his career working as a banker with Wachovia in Florida. Jonathan’s experience working directly with clients has helped him truly understand how to improve their financial wellness and expand KeyBank’s client base. His strategic expertise includes retail transformation, business banking, private banking, strategic leadership, risk management, mortgage banking, consumer credit, and commercial lending.

Raised by a single mom who immigrated from Peru with little English, but an abundance of determination, Jonathan learned from his role- model mother, the importance of hard work and overcoming adversity to achieve success. Jonathan’s leadership philosophy is centered on helping others find their full potential.

Jonathan believes in the importance of nonprofit organizations to give back to local communities and has served on various Boards throughout his career. He resides in Erie, CO with his wife, Jen, and his three boys, Maximus, Mateo, and Micah.
