Gabriel “Gabe” Godoy, Development Manager

Gabriel “Gabe” Godoy is a Denver native and proud graduate of Denver Public Schools who has spent more than a decade working to expand educational access and opportunity across the Denver metro area. Before joining Emily Griffith Foundation, Gabe served in multiple leadership roles at DSST Public Schools, where he led network-wide college access strategy, oversaw application, scholarship and financial aid data systems, and built programs that supported students to have choice and opportunities post high school.

Prior to his work with DSST, Gabe supported student services at the Community College of Denver, where he helped learners navigate enrollment, academic pathways, financial aid and support resources. His experience in both K–12 and higher education has shaped his belief that strong systems, personalized support, and access to opportunity are critical to student success at every age and stage.

Outside of work, Gabe is a dad of four and a dedicated Colorado sports fan who loves cheering on the Nuggets, Rockies, Avs, and Broncos. When he’s not watching a game, he’s usually exploring Denver with his family, spending time outdoors, or finding new local spots to enjoy together.

Gabe is eager to build on Emily Griffith Foundation’s fundraising efforts by deepening donor relationships, supporting the Student Essentials & Emergencies Fund, and helping shape alumni engagement initiatives. He’s proud to bring his experience and skills to a mission he genuinely believes in.
