Celestina Jimenez, Vice President / General Counsel, RK Industries LLC

Celestina Jimenez’s construction experience spans 15 years, with extensive in-house experience with global engineering and construction firms. She currently serves as RK Industries, LLC’s Vice President / General Counsel, managing the company’s corporal legal and risk matters. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado - RK Industries provides construction, manufacturing, and building service solutions in the Rocky Mountain region. Previously, she was Associate General Counsel for MWH, a global construction company focused on large water infrastructure projects. She started her professional construction career managing commercial and project risk for Jacobs Engineering, working from various project sites around the US, building mega energy projects.

Celestina received her law degree from Seattle University and her undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Washington. She was recently selected as a Diversity Fellow for the ABA Construction Law Forum and is active in the legislative and political action committees for both the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC).

Originally from the Philippines, Celestina migrated to the United States when she was 17 years old and had her first stint in the construction industry as a day laborer. She is passionate about immigrant rights and for increasing the participation and retention of women in the construction industry. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Colorado General Counsel Mentorship Program. She now lives in Colorado with her husband and two sons, with whom she shares the simple joys of chasing powder days on a snowboard in the Rocky Mountains or catching a good wave on a surfboard on a lovely warm beach.
