Contributing to the work of Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC)  is neither an act of charity or a leap of faith. It’s a solid investment in the American Dream.

Good investments demand a return:

  • For every $1 of state investment in EGTC, there is a $10 annual benefit for the local economy.
  • Every $1 invested by an EGTC student in their education yields $7 in annual earning potential.
  • 85% of EGTC students graduate, one of the highest completion rates in the state.
  • 78% of EGTC graduates gain employment, one of the highest job placement rates in the state.

We have several events throughout the year to celebrate Emily’s legacy and to support the sustainability of the Foundation. We are always looking for sponsors interested in branding themselves within the community.

Create a Scholarship Fund

We would not be able to serve hundreds of students per year without our scholarship supporters. Because of the low cost of tuition coupled with Emily Griffith Technical College’s initiatives for students to graduate debt free, your scholarship contribution can go far. Individuals and businesses can set up a fund for one year or multiple years.

Our Donors Make the Difference

“We decided upon this Denver-based school after careful evaluation of where our money could make a difference. We wanted to see how our scholarships could help students firsthand. It is our intention to personally meet scholarship recipients and follow their progress. We are very excited to be a part of the opportunities that Emily Griffith Technical College presents in our community,” said Barbara Gallivan. In 2012, the Gallivans made a $100,000 contribution to fund scholarships for students in the health programs.

The Gamel Scholarship Fund for Northeast Denver, established by Denver native, Tom Gamel, covers the costs associated with General Education Development, GED, preparation courses and/or GED testing fees as well as full-ride scholarships to Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC). The scholarship fund was created to lift individuals out of poverty through education. Mr. Gamel has committed to funding 15 – 20 scholarships in the first year.
